Currently the Executive Director of the Wisconsin Coalition of Mutual Assistance Association and is recognized as a clan leader, community leader and advocate for the Hmong community. Vue was elected to the Board of Education of the La Crosse School District in 1993 and was appointed by Wisconsin Governor Tommy Thompson to the Wisconsin Equal Rights Council from 1993-95; appointed by Wisconsin Governor Jim Doyle to the Wisconsin Public Health Council in 2004; and re-appointed by Governor Scott Walker in 2014. Today, Vue continues to serve on the Public Health Council and was recently appointed by Governor Walker to the Wisconsin State Council on Substance Abuse and Other Drug Abuse. Vue developed the Hmong Cultural Training Program and has over 30 years of experience serving the Hmong community in Wisconsin with bilingual/bicultural skills.
