Jerry Vang, a 2013 graduate from the University of Wisconsin Law School, is a Senior Compliance Specialist with Dean Health Plan working in health insurance compliance. Prior, Vang was the Member Services Manager for the State Bar of Wisconsin and a Staff Attorney at Wisconsin Judicare in Wausau. As Member Services Manager, Vang managed a team who worked with State Bar committees and coordinated law related programs and activities to support attorneys, law students, and the public. As a Staff Attorney, Vang represented low-income individuals in the areas of consumer protection law, family law, landlord-tenant law, and public housing regulation.
Vang was previously the president of the Wisconsin Asian American Bar Association. He currently serves on the Madison Police Department Policy & Procedure Review Ad Hoc Committee and serves as a board of director for two non-profits, The Hmong Institute and The Employment and Training Association. In his free time, Vang enjoys playing Ultimate Frisbee and spending time with his wife and son.
